Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for recruitment purposes are:
- Consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.
- Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
- Collection and retention of CV information is carried out purely to ensure that candidates are immediately included in any preliminary (internal database) searches against all new incoming client requirements (jobs). All such information is treated in the strictest of confidence and absolutely never shared with any 3rd party without prior informed consent of the owner of that information (candidate).
- Collection and retention of contact details is carried out purely to ensure the ease and efficiency of consensual communication. All such information is treated in the strictest of confidence and absolutely never shared with any 3rd party without prior informed consent of the owner of that information (candidate).

How long we keep information
We retain CV and contact details for 1 year, before seeking consent to continue to retain said information on an annual basis.
This does not infringe upon your right to ask us to delete or otherwise remove your information from our systems.
